Recap on Our Info Session

Powerpoints, games and pizza were what our Friday information session revolved around. After a quick presentation on what our new members should expect from being a part of "Project E-Nable", we began a game called the Hollow Square. 

The members in the "Planning Team" of the game were supposed to verbally explain to the "Operating Team" how to create the square shown below with their puzzle pieces. 

Although it seemed difficult at first, the teams accomplished their task very creatively! The Hollow Square figure was put together with time to spare. The purpose behind this game was to give the teams a taste of what it would be like to work together on something that a previous team had worked on before them. While some members may graduate and new members may take on the project, it is important to carefully follow given instructions and work together to achieve the ultimate goal of the project. I believe that our attendees understood this message, and I have high hopes for what they can bring to "Project E-Nable", from ideas on pet prosthetics to programming.
