Beginning Our Assembly and Experimenting

After a few adjustments and a 10 hour print, the entire left hand was ready to be assembled today. Each joint is replaced with a small pin that supports free movement of the wrist and fingers. While the assembly began, we noticed that the smaller size of the model introduced a few initial issues with the elastic string (black). It was rather difficult to insert the string so we tried using some fishing line and some nylon strings. A final observation was that a metal pin or just a pin of a different texture may help reduce any friction between the wrist pins and fingers.
