Pizza and RailsAreUs!

Today we finished our to do list, which consisted of creating a banner, planning our training meetings, creating a powerpoint, learning how to use the sweep feature in solidworks and eating!
After ordering pizza, we began planing our presentations for Friday and Saturday. We did relatively well, and continued on to the next task. Together, we designed and printed a banner for our working space and training meetings. It revolves around the motto of our project:

Then, we started learning how to model more 3D objects, including springs and railings. For both, we used the "Swept Base" feature, which allows us to extend a shape (profile) along a chosen path. With it, we can make springs out of just a circle and a helix. We made allen keys, railings, and now have the potential to make much more. As employees of RailsAreUs, we were able to create legitimate railings for a surface - with a little struggle. After some more Solidworks, we improved our powerpoint and called it a night!
